1. Use one color. This means selecting one color first, then adjusting the transparency or saturation. This way, the page looks unified in color and has a sense of hierarchy.
2. Use two colors. First, select one color, then choose its complementary color.
3. Use a color scheme. Simply put, this means using colors that feel similar, such as light blue, light yellow, light green; or earth yellow, earth gray, earth blue. In web color matching, also remember some common pitfalls:
1. Do not use all colors; try to limit it to three to five colors.
2. The contrast between the background and the text should be as large as possible (absolutely avoid using complex patterned backgrounds) to highlight the main text content.
